About Natalie

Hi, I'm Natalie Parmenter! With over 10 years of experience as an elementary school teacher, I’ve worked with hundreds of families to help their children start kindergarten with confidence. I’ve taught kindergarten, first, and fifth grade in North Carolina, and also had the opportunity to teach first grade at an international school in Vietnam.

As a graduate of California State University, Northridge, and with a Master’s degree in Education from Johns Hopkins, I founded Primary Focus to help parents navigate their child’s educational journey. My goal is to make sure parents have the tools and confidence they need to support their child's social-emotional, academic, and life skills development.
