What I'm leaving behind in 2023:
What I'm leaving behind in 2023: negative self talk, planning every moment and stressing when it doesn't go my way, George Santos, internet trolls, and brussels sprouts (you can wrap it in as much bacon as you want, but they aren't good π)
What I'm taking with me to 2024: positivity, asking for help, working out for endorphins and health benefits, Jeff Jackson, school funding, homegrown strawberries, and the incredible Primary Focus audience
Here's a few of my favorite videos I made this year:

- βElf on the Shelf, Christmas in Schools, and Rejecting Holiday Traditionsβ

What's New?
ποΈ Podcast!: I was interviewed on Organizing Untold. We chatted about how I organized as a teacher, tips to teach children organization, and how being an organized person helps me as a business owner.
π₯ Videos: I took a leap of faith last week and released a video on a Tuesday afternoon. All my analytics said not to, but with a holiday season based video, I knew I was racing against the clock. Thank you for watching my premiere, commenting, and liking the video. It has been one of my best releases this year! π©·
π΄ Rest: I'll be slowing down the next few weeks to rest and plan for 2024. I hope you can get down time too. Respond to this email to let me know your plans!
Things I Love (contains affiliate links)
πͺ Treat Yourself: If you're local to Charlotte, NC one of my favorite bakers is still taking orders for holiday cookie boxes. Not only are her cookies amazing, but her heart is SO big. She was always the first to donate to students in need where I used to teach.
π§ Christmas Past: My favorite podcast this time of year is Christmas Past by Brian Earl. He explores the history behind Christmas traditions in bite sized episodes. Though a child aged 9 and up would be interested, you should "pre-listen" to episodes before sharing with the kids just to be safe π
π§£so cozy: I cannot express how amazing owning a heated scarf is. It's like a wearing a hug. It's rechargeable and feels like the gift that keeps on giving. Here's the name brand scarf and here's a more budget friendly scarf.
π©βπΌ Go to outfit: My go to clothing this time of year is a blazer. Blazers instantly make you look more put together (hint: I'm not!) and are great for layering. This blazer is a best seller, comes in 16 colors/fabrics and is 30% off.
π₯ Wishing you a Happy New Year!
